Feather and down

Geese from the Carpathian Basin grow feather and down having special heat insulating characteristics, which gives the possibility of producing light and warm down duvets. The outer of these beddings is made of feather/down-proof material specially woven of fine cotton yarn, which prevents the leakage of filling out of the cover. The 2.5-3 cm high inside baffles of the quilt prevent the slip of the filling between the boxes.

At Naturtex we pay a special attention to using the highest quality feather and down. We monitor every phase of the cleaning and sterilization process carried out according to the European standards. During this we use thermal water, enabling to cut back the quantity of detergents, what makes this phase eco-friendly. Our laboratory completely matches the requirements of the 21st century. Pure down-filled quilts/pillows

These products (duvets or pillows) contain only high quality goose or duck down. These comforters are the warmest beddings so we recommend them for winter time, but we offer also thinner ones for summer.

The majority of the down/feather products contain a certain mixture of down and feather filling. These fillings help to optimize the price-to-value-ratio of the down beddings. Different countries have their specific standard down contents. Naturtex offers its products acc. to the local standard of each country.

Washable down/feather-filled products

Our fabric and down filling qualities are usually washable at low temperature. The use of a tumbler is recommended so that the filling can dry up quickly without sticking together.
